Indianapolis-based singer/songwriter Tyler Trowbridge is a recent addition to DubTrak's Independent Artists page and we're super excited to have him! Tyler creates rock music that is introspective and bittersweet with simple earworm melodies.
Trowbridge's 2021 album 'Hell Is Getting What You Want Forever' is a captivating blend of emotional indie rock, reminiscent of emotional 90s rock and modern indie/alternative rock. The album features the building emotional choruses of Sunny Day Real Estate, simple and beautiful vocal harmonies a la Low, and lyrics that are brooding, melancholic, and at times romantic and optimistic - Elliott Smith comes to mind.
Recently Tyler announced he's been working on an album that he intends on setting out for release by the end of 2023. We're not sure what themes he has in store for this one, but if his track record is any proof, it's sure to be an album we'll be listening to on the regular. Stream Tyler's latest album below!
